I love Sel fish!

On the way home from church, Grant was taking all the gum so I said to Cole he is being selfish. Cole says "What is selfish?" I said it is when you take everything for yourself and don't share with others. Cole says "I not going to do selfish, I don't like selfish." As Grant is listening, he chimes in "I like Sel fish!". Cole says "Mom he thinks we are talking about food" We both started giggling so much. However poor Grant looked really confused!

When I told him he could not eat his Valentine candy before he ate his lunch, which he was already getting into. He turns around and gives me a smile and says "Sawwee Mom, Twoo Late"

He tells me that he is a locker-boomer because he goes around locking doors and booming them with his pretend "boomers" which are his hands. I ask him why and he says "Because I am so awesome"( and he was very serious about that).


Overhead when his brother was going to hit him. "Grant, don't you know that you are not supposed to hit your brother, and you are never supposed to hit girls?"
That was a proud moment:)

Cole has recently decided to count his burps and is keeping a tally over 3 days. He is so proud, and I think this was a proud Dad moment too.

We have so many things to be thankful for: our health, our home, our family, our friends, and a Heavenly Father who loves us so much that he sent his son to be our Savior. I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by all these things, my heart is full of love. Wishing you joy and peace, Merry Christmas Everyone!

SUPER Men!

With some gentle persuasion, the boys decided to be Batman and Robin therefore introducing them to Super Heros. Let me tell you something funny, as soon as they got those costumes on, the really transformed into their characters complete with punches, flying, and flexing their muscles for all to see. It was hilarious to say the least. The hardest part was getting them out of character so that they did not beat up everyone around them. They had a great Halloween with their cousins Maddie and Evan and G&G Hover who came as a hippie and a tourist. Wow, all I can say is I think those costumes will get some play time even after Halloween.

SOCCER!

Cole played soccer this year and he had a blast. He did not even notice that his team successfully managed to lose every game of the season. His greatest achievement was getting the ball by himself and moving it down the field. He was so ecstatic that he had to run off the field while the game was still in play and tell Robb and I. We both wondered how we got such a non-competitive kid, when we both are very competitive. We had lots of laughs on the way home from the games. Oh well, we can only go up from here :)

Pumpkin Patch 2010

We got to go to 2 pumpkin patches this year. One with Grandma and Grandpa Welch when them came to visit, and Cole and I went with his class. We loved having G&G Welch here to visit as the boys loved playing with and loving them! We always like when they come to see us, but are very sad when they leave.

Melt My Heart

So I told Cole that I did not feel good today. He said "Do you think if we said a prayer it would make you feel better?" (Melt my heart) I love this sweet boy!

Super Mad

Grant says "Mom if I touch that(crockpot) it will be really hot and then I will get
mad. I will get Super Mad and have a Big Sad. Then I will run away to the couch.
